Madeleine Hordinski (b. 1997) is a freelance photographer born and based in Cincinnati.

Madeleine graduated from Ohio University in December 2020 Summa Cum Laude with two degrees in photojournalism and anthropology. Following her graduation, she interned for the Los Angeles Times. In 2022, she began freelancing full time from Cincinnati, where her work has brought her from Warsaw, Poland, to San Antonio, Texas.

She loves long road trips, strange looking trees and folk tales.

Madeleine's work explores memory, family, community and the aftermath of loss. Her photography and writing have been featured in the Los Angeles Times, the BBC, PDN, BuzzFeed News, the ACLU and Frontline PBS, among others.
